  37. Don't forget the Spectrum and BBC emulators!  Both could only run BASIC
  38. programs but they handled the graphics well.  We use a Speccy emulator
  39. to port pics to the C64 and I know of one guy who does fractals on
  40. the BBC one and freezes the screens for C64 demos!

  42. Small, subtle and friendly note to Greg:  Sorry for the silly answers, but
  43. you really need to pose that question on comp.emulators.c64  The regulars
  44. on this group are all using the real thing and although they may use
  45. emulators from time to time are probably not the best people to judge
  46. simply on the grounds that we all feel that you just can't compete with
  47. a real C64!  Oh, you should think yourself fortunate that Pontus doesn't
  48. seem to be around at the moment...  =-)

  50. For what it's worth (see above) I think that the C64s is the best PC based
  51. emulator I've seen but don't bother unless you have a fairly big machine!
